Rising from the ashes of severely underrated band Dear and The Headlights, are Phoenix, Arizona based outfit The Gentle Hits - who have just lifted the lid on their debut track ‘Walk Out’. The newly formed 4 piece (comprised of two previous DATH members - singer Ian Metzler and drummer Mark Kulvinskas - along with new additions Wayne Jones and James Mulhern) have introduced themselves in style. Their brand of Americana-tinged folk rock is wonderfully nostalgic - and picks up nicely where Dear and The Headlights left off. The Gentle Hits’ debut self-titled full length is set for release via Porch Party Records on November 18th. -JC
